DyeMansion launches global partner platform for AM post-processing

Germany-based DyeMansion, a developer of 3D printing finishing solutions, has launched an industrial post-processing platform comprising 46 partners around the globe. The aim of the new platform is to increase global access to 3D printing finishing and coloring by bringing together production and sales partners that offer the company’s industrial post-processing solutions for polymer parts.

DyeMansion’s new platform is now online and enables AM users to select their optimal post-processing partner. The network showcases the various partners (with detailed profiles) and enabled users to select the best fit based on various filter functions. DyeMansion ensures that every production partner listed on the online platform has the capacity to produce high-value products at scale using its finishing technologies.

“Alliances are the basis to transform the manufacturing industry together,” said Kai Witter, Chief Customer Officer at DyeMansion. “Those and the final touch that our solutions provide are key drivers to produce high-value products at scale. We are proud to have built such a strong platform with partners worldwide, offering DyeMansion technology and sharing the same vision.”

DyeMansion’s finishing solution is a multi-step process that transforms unfinished polymer printed parts into professional and even branded finished products. The company’s solution consists of several modules, including the Powershot C cleaning module, the Powershot S Polyshot Surfacing system, the Powerfuse S Vaporfuse Surfacing system and the DM60 Deepdye Coloring module.

Recently, the company has focused on expanding its partnerships and distribution network. For instance, over the past year, DyeMansion signed reseller agreements with SolidproPLM Group and YUNS, as well as with AMKOREA, CAD MicroSolutions, Centrum Druku, Rapid 3D and others. The company has also forged alliances with several production partners, including Akhani 3D in South Africa, Solaxis in Canada and JawsTec in the United States.

Oscar Klassen, CEO & Co Founder at JawsTec, a nylon 3D printing service provider, said: “With a partnership between DyeMansion and JawsTec, we will be able to provide our customers with the highest quality 3D printed parts after post-processing on the market for a cost effective price. Making it easier to access for small and large businesses in developing and production line products in the manufacturing industry. 3D printing provides flexibility with instant production and will be the way of future manufacturing because of its ability to make changes to the parts and finishes that are now achievable with the DyeMansion solutions.”

DyeMansion has also introduced a new model for its sales partnerships, which offers different levels, from a flexible entry level collaboration to a Platinum level reseller, which includes the end-to-end post-processing workflow onsite.

“The DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow is a perfect complement to HP Multi Jet Fusion technology and enables us to offer our customers a complete solution for the 3D-printing process chain,” said Hargurdeep Singh, VP of Additive Manufacturing at Canada-based CAD MicroSolutions. “We’re particularly excited that DyeMansion technology will give our customers in the automotive industry the ability to overcome the strict color requirements of 3D-printed parts for automotive interiors.”
